A brief recap in english of what is so special in this years Helsinki Tallinna Race.
First of the location of the finnish line in Tallin this year is Kalevi Jahtklubi in Pirita. Boats will be mored in Kalev’s harbour and in Pirita’s harbour.
Double handed sailors are encouraged to participate in the FinRating class, as those results will also count in the Avomeripurjehtijat – Finnish Offshore Racing Association Musto DH-Ranking. No separate DH-class will be offered and the results for the DH class will be formed only after participants have crossed the finnish line in their respective FinRating classes.
Trimarans and other boats with multiple hulls are welcome to join the event once more! The multihull class is open for all boats who have a Multi2000 -handicapping number issued by the Finnish Catamaran and Trimaran Association.
The ORC international certificate is as such valid for FinRating handicapping. The FinRating number can be found on the custom scoring options after clicking the ”FIN” button on the bottom.
The Notice of Race has been published in Manage2Sail and the registration is open until 10th of August and until the 17th with an augmented fee.
